WHAT DO YOU DO IF YOU RETURN A CLIENT HOME AND THE GUARDIAN IS NOT THERE AT THE AGREED UPON TIME?
- Ask the parent/guardian on the first meeting for a neighbor, friend or relative (name and contact information) whom you can drop the child off to if the parent is not at home when you are there for drop off. Please get a release for this alternate drop off person.
You can research insurance companies through the NASW site ---- A company we called for quotes and was reasonably priced (800 421-8894 and 631 691-6400). You can request a quote as a part time, self employed consultant with less coverage than 100,000-300,000 if that fits your needs.
